So when did it start? Well, it started on the date noted above. Yes, the 31st of August 2019. It was a lovely Saturday and there were lots of humans visiting the temporary accommodation. It's usually busy on Saturdays there. That's what I've noticed ever since I checked in at the temporary accommodation.
Humans, big and small, have been passing by my room, but I was too tired to say hello. Plus I'm not really the chatty type. Don't get me wrong, I do chat but usually when I'm super duper excited or sometimes when I'm a bit anxious.
Around noon, I noticed some of the humans stopped by my room. They were outside my room but they were calling someone else. "Tequila! Tequila!" I had no idea who Tequila was. It was my own room so I wasn't sure why they were looking for Tequila. I thought it was weird so I didn't get out of my bed to meet them. They left, probably looking for Tequila.
Few minutes after, one of the humans who was looking after me in the temporary accommodation, took me out of my room and brought me to one of the little playgrounds. Five humans of varying sizes were in the playground. I was excited to meet them because they seemed nice. They said hello and gave me some rubs which I love.
I thought, it would be nice to be with these five humans and check out from this temporary accommodation, but I was not sure if the were gonna take me with them. The temporary accommodation is nice but it gets too cold at times. And I prefer to be in a bigger bed, like where humans sleep. Anyway, after few minutes of interactions, I was taken back to my room and I kept all my toes crossed 🤞.
After probably half an hour, I was taken out again. I thought more humans would want to meet me but to my disappointment, I was taken to a different room, not the playground where I met the five humans of varying sizes earlier ☹️. The human who took me to the other room gave me an orange leash which I liked. I thought it was fashionable 😁.
I was taken out of the room, then to a bigger one with lots of humans. I saw the five humans of varying sizes I met earlier. I was given to them and they took me out. I saw lots of cars which I love to be in. To my surprise, one of the five humans of varying sizes asked me to jump in one of the cars. That's when I knew that they were taking me with them. I was so happy so I jumped in the car 😄. I was still unsure at first but I'm very glad that I finally have a new family.
So that's when (where and how) it all started. And I'm very eager to share with you the rest of my adventures with my new family.
